As we continue to expand into APAC, Global-e is looking for a highly motivated Sales Manager to join our Sales team in Japan. The Sales Manager will be responsible for identifying and educating prospects and customers on the benefits of Global-e in enhancing their DTC cross-border ecommerce offering and closing/onboarding them as clients.
- This role will work from our Tokyo office in Japan.
Responsibilities:
- Work on new data/leads entering our system by identifying, qualifying, cleansing and keeping up to date information within each record, managed across various internal systems.
- Conduct research to identify potential prospects and work with multiple sales team members to cleanse prospect lists.
- Manage the entire sales process from demo to closing by partnering with internal teams such as Solutions Engineers, Project Managers and Partnership Managers etc.
- Work along Consumer Insights Strategists to identify emerging verticals and to conduct data driven communication.
- Increase our market share in the Japan market by growing our net new business.
- Negotiate pricing and business terms with small to medium sized Ecommerce retailers by selling value as well as ROI.
- Build lasting, consultative relationships with C-level executives in customer prospects.
- Analyse customers’ existing cross-border models to develop a deep understanding of their needs and business.
- Consistently deliver on quarterly forecast commitments by achieving or exceeding sales quotas.
