QA Team Lead – Build, Lead, and Innovate

Ready to lead from the front and leave your mark? We’re hiring a QA Team Lead to build and lead a brand-new software system test team from scratch. This team will be pivotal in ensuring the quality of our cutting-edge platform through robust end-to-end (E2E) testing.

What You’ll Do:

  • Build the Team: Recruit, onboard, and train a top-notch group of manual and automation testers.
  • Define Strategy: Design and implement comprehensive system test strategies, covering workflows, APIs, integrations, user interfaces, analytics, and BI.
  • Hands-On Testing: Spend 40% of your time executing manual and automated tests, analysing results, and solving critical challenges firsthand.
  • Expand Automation: Drive automation priorities, expand test coverage, and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines and dashboards.
  • Lead & Collaborate: Foster a high-performing, innovative team culture and align testing goals with broader business objectives by working closely with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a QA Lead (3+ years) and overall QA (6+ years) in a fast-paced software development environment.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, including building teams from scratch.
  • In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
  • 40% hands-on involvement in testing (manual and automated).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Continuous learning mindset and a commitment to staying current with industry trends.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (C#, Java, Selenium, Playwright).
  • Knowledge of agile, monitoring and DevOps methodologies.
