Information System Engineer

Global-e’s IT Department is looking to add Information System Engineer with a focus on Zendesk Administration to our team.

You will be responsible for executing the day-to-day configuration, support, maintenance and improvement of our service platforms. Working closely with functional leaders, organizational units, and subject matter experts, you will identify, develop and deploy new business processes including integrations to other applications, development of dashboards and reports and application configuration to meet strategic initiatives and client requirements.

Responsibilities:

·        Implement best practices for application usage, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and stay updated on product updates and industry trends.

·        Daily administration tasks, including user setup, form customization, field views, triggers, email notifications, approval processes, reports, and dashboards.

·        Support new system rollouts, maintenance, upgrades, and recommend process improvements.

·        Troubleshoot and provide solutions for technical issues and escalations.

·        Create and maintain technical systems documentation.

·        Collaborate with all organizational levels, external vendors, and clients.

·        Manage project issues, risks, and change control processes.

·        Facilitate status meetings and reports as needed.

Requirements

·        2-3 years of Zendesk Administrator experience with demonstration of strong knowledge and understanding of the platform.

·        Experience with integrations preferred.

·        Experience with SQL, JavaScript, HTML, Java, and Apex preferred but not required.

·        Familiarity with Zendesk REST API is a plus.

·        Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.

·        Experience with large multifaceted projects and international business is advantageous.

·        Familiarity with other SaaS applications and CRM systems (Atlassian, Monday, Slack, HubSpot) preferred but not required.

·        Resourceful, innovative, and strong problem-solving skills.

·        Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
