Driven to create the ultimate capsule wardrobe, Nakedvice founders Sarah Miller and Jessie Gargan have built a fashion brand that balances timelessness and current trends. The Nakedvice team recognised the potential of selling globally and implemented an e-commerce framework on their Shopify store to cater to consumers across the globe.
However they realised that their online shop was not providing international customers with an optimal buying journey, impacting the brand’s ability to maximise the global e-commerce opportunity.
Nakedvice could only show pricing and accept payment in a few currencies. In many markets, shoppers had to estimate their purchase price and were exposed to unclear exchange rates and transaction fees.
The brand could not provide a guaranteed final cost of purchase, including duties and taxes. This created friction and a bad customer experience, as international shoppers were frequently required to pay these fees upon delivery.
In addition, Nakedvice could only provide a handful of payment methods while many popular local and alternative options were unavailable. Moreover, their international shipping fees were high.
The Nakedvice team recognised that to fully realise their international potential, they needed to enhance the buying journey on their website and provide a seamless experience for customers worldwide.
